YA/YA is an after-school arts and enrichment program that teaches art and the business of art to teens. Founder Jana Napoli started the program with a vision: “Given the right tools and a fertile environment, creative young people can do extraordinary things.”
In “Unity, Not Uniformity,” UNO film student Marie Eissing chronicles a recent YA/YA arts-based contemplation of American identities that was exhibited at the Contemporary Arts Center.
The Film and Theatre Department of UNO and NolaVie present this weekly series of short films produced by the students in Laszlo Fulop’s documentary class. Read Renee Peck’s column about the program here.
