It looks like the Bravo Housewives may have some furry, scaly competition in New Orleans. And, no, this isn’t the cable channel’s method of incorporating more realistic looking subjects into its programming.
On Thursday, at 6 PM, Audubon Nature Institute will air a new web series, The Real Wild Animals of New Orleans, which will give viewers behind-the-scenes glimpses of life and operations at Audubon Zoo, Aquarium, and Butterfly Garden and Insectarium.
The premiere episode will focus on Audubon Aquarium’s sea otters, Buck and Emma. Later in the season, the series will chronicle a trio of penguin chicks, entomologists bug collecting in the swamp, and even a gorilla’s birthday party.
