Become a plasterwork apprentice

The New Orleans Master Crafts Guild (The Guild) supports local traditional building trades craftsmen and helps them grow their businesses.

Starting in the new year, the New Orleans Master Crafts Guild will begin training future apprentices. In collaboration with Providence Community Housing and Corpus Christi-Epiphany Roman Catholic Church, the Guild is offering training in plastering and iron work. The deadline for application is January 9. All interested applicants can apply in person at the Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center at 2200 Lafitte Street.
