TICKET GIVEAWAY: Peter Hook & the Light at Republic

Peter-Hook

Peter Hook & the Light are coming to Republic on April 22, and Nola Vie has a pair of tickets to give away! For a chance to win, follow Nola Vie on Twitter (@nolavie) and tweet “I want to see @peter_hook1 @RepublicNOLA courtesy of @nolavie!” The winners will be notified via direct message on Twitter by Tuesday, April 21.

Peter Hook is a founding member and bass player of the seminal post-punk band Joy Division. After the death of lead singer Ian Curtis, the band reformed as New Order. Hook formed the band Peter Hook & the Light in 2010 and serves as the lead vocalist and bassist. Despite some tough times, the band has pushed on and currently plays full Joy Division and New Order albums in concert.

This time around, Hook is hitting US cities that he hasn’t been to, playing an opening set of New Order tunes followed by the Joy Division albums, Unknown Pleasures and Closer. Tickets for the show at Republic can be purchased here.
