Wednesday May, 31-June 25/Southern Rep Theater: Starting on Wednesday, you can dive back into history with Southern Rep’s performance of Father Comes Home From the Wars (Parts 1, 2, &3). How far back in history? To West Texas, 1862. The play circulates around “Hero,” who is promised his freedom from slavery in exchange for his service in the Civil War—on the Confederate side. He leaves behind his community, his father, and the woman he loves for what may be an empty promise; what he finds on the front lines might make it impossible for him to return home the same man. The performances be Thursdays through Saturdays starting at 8:00 PM and on Sundays starting at 3:00 PM. All performances will be held at Loyola University’s Marquette Hall (6363 St. Charles Ave.). Tickets vary in price, and you can purchase them here.

Daily hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM. To find out more about “The Earth is Round” exhibit as well as other exhibits at Antenna, check out their website.
