The Virtue of Not Knowing 7/4/2020

At 75…

I can feel free to

travel back and forth

across the landcape

of my life without having

to make excuses

for all the mistakes

I made along the way,

while savoring the richness

of all the experiences

I’ve enjoyed along the way.

But I wonder…

If given both choice

and foreknowledge,

who among us

would choose

to jump on the

chute-the-chute

of life if we knew

all of what was

in store for us

along the way.
