“Riding the Winged Horse”
He emerged out of a moment
of desperate yearning for
the exceptional.
Without warning he unfurled
his wings and took over the
show.
Dumbfounded and relieved
by the magnitude of his
presence…
I was free of the burden
to be other than I am,
And willing to go wherever
he would take me.
