Speaking of all those festivals last weekend (read Brett Will Taylor’s column about that here), photographer Linda Friedman captured these tasty photographs of the Roadfood Fest.
But what is roadfood?
“Authentic, regional eats,” Emily Valentino, the festival’s project lead, told Brian Friedman in an interview last week (read the story here). “This is the type of food you find in restaurants across the country, kind of off the beaten track, that become part of the culture and the identity of the region or city in which they were born.”
Bon appétit.
