Today we present “Dave Greber Artist Statement 2011,” from Tulane MFA candidate and member of the Front Gallery, Dave Greber. Dave, originally from Philadelphia, came to New Orleans in 2005 and began producing documentaries for non-profits and musical acts, regional advertisements, and independent film, before turning his attention to more artistic endeavors. This video stars fellow Front Gallery member Jonathan Traviesa as the character “Dave Greber,” riffing on the idea “artist statement.”

Through her experiences in New Orleans, the author feels a mystical connection to both the past and the future.
