The city is gearing up for the Saints season opener this Sunday (coincidentally, on 9/9), so what better way to kick it off than with a little entrepreneurial news from the Brees family? (Well, maybe a Dome Bloody Mary, so feel free to kick it off all over again then.)
This week Drew and Brittany Brees launched their new venture, NINE, a lifestyle apparel company that is inspired by the city, and supports a good cause. NINE products are available online at ninebrand.com, select regional boutiques, and at a pop-up shop at the corner of Loyola and Poydras on game day.
NINE’s product debut features a special edition line of an “ALL IN” tee. The inaugural design was inspired by the recent, tumultuous off-season, and commemorates the the community’s ingrained attitude in the face of adversity: a determination to come out of it better than before. In New Orleans, no matter the circumstances, we are all in things together as a community, a region, and a team.
Nine percent of net proceeds from all NINE products will be donated to the Brees Dream Foundation to support organizations focused on resilience. Proceeds from the “ALL IN” tee will be donated to organizations focused on Hurricane Isaac recovery in the Gulf Coast region.
