For the first year, as part of annual family-friendly Warehouse District holiday celebration NOLA ChristmasFest, the New Orleans-based children’s band and television personalities, the Imagination Movers, will perform a special Christmas-themed show this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Following the performance, children can interact with the Imagination Movers performers in a “meet and greet” session.
Show tickets (which include admission to NOLA ChristmasFest and the Imagination Movers performance ) are $30 in advance or at the door. Tickets for NOLA ChristmasFest, if purchased separately, are $15.
NOLA ChristmasFest is a 13-day holiday celebration inside the Convention Center (900 Convention Center Boulevard) featuring 13 days of crafts; inflatables; a petting zoo; appearances from Santa, Mr. Bingle and other holiday characters; decorated Christmas trees; gingerbread house creations, cooking demonstrations and live music. The festival will run from December 12 – 24.
