What: New Orleans Jazz and National Heritage Park, which is dedicated to interpreting the history and development of jazz, which ultimately emerged as the result of NOLA’s unique historical melding of African and European cultures. The park preserves the extensively social nature jazz has played in New Orleans by offering interactive programming such as walking tours, ranger activities and live performances.
