Taylor students and scholars: A desire and hunger that builds a beautiful city

Editor’s Note: A group of Taylor students and scholars recently joined Mrs. Phyllis Taylor to celebrate their academic accomplishments. Some of the brightest, most creative, and hard-working students are in New Orleans–developing community centers as school projects, juggling internships along with sports and academics, and engaging with their education and community in a way that gives back to all. Schools, teachers, and education supporters, you are helping foster critically conscious and empathetic future leaders, and as Mrs. Phyllis Taylor says, “this shows you the desire and the hunger that young adults have to better themselves, to learn what is happening in the world, and to make a difference.”
