A Suite for Miss Helen: The Bite of Her Fuss      12/21/2014  

Helen’s only word today was “ok.” 

It may be the only word she retains. 

Or maybe she no longer cares to speak,

Not even to complain.

Whatever the reason

Everything now is just ok,

Or it is nothing at all.  

Which leaves us longing 

To feel again 

The bite of her fuss.
